Until this arrived, every controller in this ranking was made by Microsoft — which meant the ranking was really a comparison of one company's product tiers. The Victrix brings genuine competition: more modularity than the Elite Series 2 and Hall-effect sticks, which matter because stick drift is what kills pro controllers. You pay more and lose Bluetooth for it.

Stick drift is the failure mode that actually retires pro controllers over time — the Victrix's Hall-effect sticks are built specifically to avoid it, which the formula rewards under customization and build quality. Whether that outweighs losing Bluetooth and paying more is a real trade-off, not a rounding error.
