- Platform lock comes first — a controller that is excellent on one console is simply unusable on the other.
- Battery life is the DualSense’s known weak point, which is why a second pad or a dock is a common purchase.
- Back buttons and swappable sticks are the real reason to pay pro-controller prices, not the finish.
- Stick drift is a wear problem: check the warranty terms as carefully as the spec sheet.
