ECOVACS Deebot T50 Pro Omni vs T50 Max Pro Omni

Same family, $300 apart ($399.99 vs $699.99). The Pro Omni exists for one specific reason: at 3.19 inches tall it's the lowest-profile robot in this ranking, built to fit under furniture that LiDAR-turret robots can't reach. The Max Pro Omni spends that extra $300 on the dock: hot-water mop washing, plus more suction and airflow.

Top pick

PS8.5/10

Best for low furniture

The answer to a problem specification sheets rarely address: most good robot vacuums are too tall to go under a sofa. At 3.19 inches this one gets where the LiDAR-turret machines cannot, and it still arrives with a station that washes, dries, empties and refills for around $400. Obstacle avoidance is the trade — it will bump into things the Roborock glides around — so buy it for a home with low furniture and reasonably clear floors, not for an obstacle course.

Pros

  • At 3.19 inches it clears furniture the taller LiDAR robots here physically cannot get under
  • A full self-washing, self-emptying, self-refilling station at around $400
  • 15,000 Pa is more raw suction than machines costing twice as much in this ranking

Cons

  • Obstacle avoidance is the weak point of this line, per independent reviewers
  • Carpet deep-cleaning falls short of the flagships here
  • No automatic mop pad removal

ECOVACS

Number 2: ECOVACS Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni

PS8.1/10

Best mopping dock

Buy this one for the dock, which is the part of a robot vacuum most people underestimate. Hot water washing is the difference between a mop that stays usable and one that starts to smell, and few stations at this price do it. The cleaning hardware backs it up — the airflow figure matters more than the pascal number everyone quotes. What you are not buying is navigation: reviewers consistently flag obstacle avoidance as this line's weak spot.

Pros

  • Hot water mop washing — the dock feature that actually stops a mop smelling after a few weeks
  • 34.5 CFM of airflow, which matters more than the headline pascal figure for embedded dirt
  • Station handles washing, drying, refilling and emptying without intervention

Cons

  • Obstacle avoidance is the weakest part of the package, per the hands-on review
  • Does not remove and reinstall its own mop pads, unlike rivals at this price
  • ~$700 puts it against machines with better navigation

The real question: is hot-water mop washing worth $300 more, or does furniture clearance matter more?

The Max Pro Omni's hot-water washing is the dock feature that actually stops a mop from smelling after a few weeks, and it comes paired with 18,500 Pa of suction and 34.5 CFM of airflow — around three times that of standard models, per its own spec sheet. That's a real upgrade, not a cosmetic one. But if you have low sofas or beds, those $300 buy nothing against a physical limit: the Pro Omni, at just 3.19 inches tall, is the only one of the two that fits underneath.

Neither model stands out on obstacle avoidance — independent reviewers flag it as this line's weak point across both models — so the real decision is between furniture clearance and a dock that washes with hot water, not between two levels of navigation.
