Nuestro veredicto
This ranking places it third, and that is worth explaining rather than defending: our score weights what you pay, and at $1,599.99 it costs roughly three times the Hisense above it. On picture it is not close — per-pixel OLED blacks, a 144Hz ceiling rising to 165Hz, four HDMI 2.1 ports and Dolby Vision, which the Samsung in this ranking does not support at all. The premium is justified in a specific situation: a dim or light-controlled room, where OLED contrast is visible and where a bright LED panel's main advantage stops mattering. It is not justified in a bright living room, where the Hisense will simply look better for a third of the money, and it is not justified if you mostly watch rather than play, because the refresh ceiling above 120Hz is unreachable by any current console. One more honest caveat, and it is the reviewers' own: the outgoing C5 generation performs almost identically for meaningfully less. Buy this only once that stock is gone or the price gap has closed.
